About this guide

This guide tells you how to give us feedback or make a complaint.

You can read it with someone you trust.

What is feedback?

Feedback is telling us what you think.

You can tell us what is going well.

You can tell us what could be better.

What is a complaint?

A complaint is telling us you are not happy about something.

You have the right to make a complaint.

You will not get in trouble for making a complaint. It will not change your support.

How do I tell you?

You can tell your practitioner.

You can email us at contact@richersupport.com.

Someone can help you. This can be a family member, a friend, a support worker or an advocate.

If you say yes, someone can tell us for you.

What happens after I tell you?

We listen. We say thank you.

We will contact you within 2 working days.

We find out what happened.

If your complaint is about your practitioner, their Team Leader looks into it.

We ask you what you would like to happen.

We write to you to tell you what we found and what we will do.

Most of the time this takes 3 weeks or less. If it takes longer, we will tell you why.

We use what you tell us to make our service better.

What if I am still not happy?

You can contact the NDIS Commission.

You can call the NDIS Commission on 1800 035 544.

You can email the NDIS Commission at contactcentre@ndiscommission.gov.au.

You can make a complaint on the NDIS Commission website.

You can go to the NDIS Commission first. You do not have to tell us first.

You can make a complaint to the NDIS Commission without giving your name.

If you need an interpreter, call TIS National on 131 450. Ask them to call the NDIS Commission.

What if someone is in danger?

If someone is badly hurt or in danger, call 000.

If you feel very sad or unsafe, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. You can call any time, day or night.
