Choosing a behaviour support provider usually means taking someone's word for it. This page is our attempt to give you things you can verify for yourself instead. Every item below can be checked on a public register or in an audit report.
We publish the details of every audit we have had here, so that you can make an informed choice about the supports that you receive. We think being able to show you this is a fair thing to expect of a provider.
Being audited is a normal part of being a registered NDIS provider. Every provider is audited on a cycle the Commission sets: an audit before you can register at all, a shorter mid-term check partway through, and a full recertification every three years. An approved quality auditor, who we pay but do not choose the findings of, assesses us against the NDIS Practice Standards and reports to the Commission. Everything in this section is taken from those independently verified audit reports.
How these audits are scored. Each criterion is rated on a four point scale. Most criteria at a passing audit are rated 2, which means the standard is met. A 3 is not common.
Across all three audits we have recorded no non-conformities, major or minor. Two criteria have been rated 3, at each of the last two audits.
Both were rated 2 at our first audit in 2022. They reached 3 at the 2023 mid-term and have held at 3 since. They are the two things we have spent the most time on, so this is the result we are most pleased about.
Each audit is assessed against the NDIS Practice Standards, Core Module and Module 2. The auditor interviews the people we support and their families, and chooses who to approach from our full participant list. We do not select them and we are not present.
What “no consultant was engaged” means. Providers can pay a consultant to help prepare them for audit, and many do. Auditors are asked to record this because the Commission has said that bought-in material which reads the same across many providers can undermine what the audit is for.
Why there are no testimonials here. You will not find participant testimonials on this site. As a psychology-led service we are regulated by AHPRA, and the National Law does not permit health practitioners to use testimonials in advertising.
So rather than ask you to take our word for it, we publish the things you can check independently: our audit history, our registration details, and the qualifications and practitioner numbers of everyone on our team.
You can find the qualifications, experience and behaviour support practitioner number of each of our staff on our team page. Every practitioner number can be checked with the NDIS Commission.
If anything on this page is out of date or does not match what you find on a public register, please tell us and we will correct it. You can raise a concern with us directly, or with the NDIS Commission, at any time and without going through us first.
